Beau Emmett was born in 1977 and lives and works in Naarm Melbourne, Australia.
Beau holds a Masters of Fine Art (Research) from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne and works as an artist, lecturer, technician and hairdresser.
Working across sculpture, installation, and expanded image-making, Beau’s work emerges from research-led experimentation with materials, atmospheres, and spatial logics, often implicating the viewer as both agent and object.
